  1. if the verbal sound of a letter triggered it, but the result didn't change depending on the voice, pitch, rhythm, etc., would i choose voice, general sounds, or something else entirely?

    1. Hi! I think you should perhaps choose letters! Or phonemes, as it seems that the type of synesthesia you're looking for might depend on the letter but distinguishing it by its sound only, rather than its concept as you read it or think about its shape along with its pronunciation. So if you get colours for this, for example, it could be phoneme-colour synesthesia, which is often classed together with grapheme-colour synesthesia, but could also belong to auditory-visual in fact.
